This policy explains what information Global Traders Academy collects, why, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Account details: your name, email address and password (stored only as a secure hash).
- Billing: your subscription status and payment history. Payments are handled by PayPal; we never see or store your full card or bank details.
- Your activity in the Service: watchlists, saved scanners, keyword filters, price alerts, simulator trades, workspace layouts and settings, so the Service works for you.
- Device information: basic technical data such as browser type and IP address used for security, fraud prevention and keeping you signed in. If you turn on push notifications, we store the push subscription for that device.
- Messages you send us: for example support emails or Team & Enterprise inquiries.
How we use it
- To provide the Service: your account, Pro access, alerts, reports and the Live Trading room.
- To send emails you've asked for (alerts, reports, newsletter) and essential service emails (password resets, billing notices).
- To keep the Service secure, enforce one-person-per-login, and prevent abuse.
- To improve the Service.
We don't sell your personal information.
Cookies
We use a session cookie to keep you signed in and a few local settings (like chart preferences) stored in your browser. We don't use third-party advertising cookies. Embedded content, such as TradingView charts and YouTube live streams, may set their own cookies under their policies.
Service providers
We share information only as needed with providers that help us run the Service, such as PayPal (payments), our hosting provider, and our email provider. Market data providers never receive your personal information.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe from newsletters with the link in any email, and turn alerts off in the Service.
- Turn push notifications off in your browser or device settings.
- Ask us to access, correct or delete your data by emailing support@globaltradersacademy.com. Some records (like billing history) may be kept where the law requires.
Security and retention
We use encryption in transit (HTTPS), hashed passwords and restricted access. We keep your data while your account is active and for a reasonable time afterwards, or as required by law.
Children
The Service isn't intended for anyone under 18.
